Gilbert J. Montaño, RN, MSN, FNP-BC

Mr. Montaño earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology in 1988 from the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. In 2006, he received his Masters of Science degree in Nursing - Family Practice from the University of Phoenix, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Mr. Montaño is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He joined Sun Life Family Health Center in 2009 and welcomes patients of all ages.

Born in Florence, Arizona, Mr. Montaño is an Arizona and Pinal County native. He and his wife have five children and two grandchildren. He enjoys playing guitar, golf, hunting and travelling, and volunteering for medical clinics locally and abroad in Mexico and Ghana, Africa.
